Modern Sonic passing through the Boss Gate's interior, from the console/ PC version of Sonic Generations. Story-wise, the Boss Gates lead Modern Sonic and Classic Sonic through time into past battles with some of their biggest opponents. In the console PC version and Nintendo 3DS version of Sonic Generations, the Boss Gates are portals of unknown origin in White Space. The player can unlock these doors by assembling the matching Planet Tablet from the fragments collected in the Stages. In the Wii/ PlayStation 2 version of Sonic Unleashed, Boss Gates are not featured instead, there is a door with star patterns on it inside each Gaia Gate that leads to the Boss Stage. Other Boss Gates are unlocked after the player clears a specific Act. To unlock a Boss Gate in most cases, the player has to obtain the Boss Gate's associated Gaia Key. The only exceptions are Eggmanland's Boss Gates, which are located in the Eggmanland Town Stage. Д«oss Gates can typically be found in the Entrance Stages. They are named 'Boss Gates' by Professor Pickle due to the strong opponents that lurk behind them. In this game, the Boss Gates are circular pads with a red light emerging from them which displays the symbol typically associated with Dark Gaia. These portals are specialized Gaia Gates created thousands of years ago to give someone access to the nearby vicinity of the local Temple of Gaia. The Boss Gate first appeared in the Xbox 360/ PlayStation 3 version of Sonic Unleashed. This can be finding the Boss Gate Key(s) that will unlock the Boss Gate, or clearing a certain amount of levels.ДЄ Boss Gate, from the Xbox 360/ PlayStation 3 version of Sonic Unleashed.

However, in order to use a Boss Gate, the player must first fulfill certain requirements. Each boss in such Sonic games will have their own Boss Gate. Multiple Boss Gates can be found within each game. Because defeating a boss is needed to progress with the game, the Boss Gates are always obligatory to be used at one point. By using or entering these portals in gameplay, the player will initiate a battle with one of the game's bosses. I was wondering why this wasn't happening on Generations as well as Forces.Boss Gates are portals of varying designs that can be found in the hub worlds of their respective games.

The mod says it's not complete outside green hill so I'll cut it some slack, but the upper pathway of green hill itself is easily missable.Дespite this it definitely feels improved though, I like it.

Springs seem to bounce you way higher than usual? They are much less automated though and this is great, but this also leads to many deaths and completely missing platforms after scripted parts.

Rolling down slopes feels improved but it really really needs to be better.

Maybe disabling the X to spin dash while making the nerf less noticeable?

I think the spin dash was nerfed a little too much, specially the classic games method of down + jump.

I can bear with it just fine though I just reccomend slightly touching it up. When you fall down it feels a little too light.

I love the new light jump, but mainly the 'jumping up' part.

Ok so I tried this for a while and here are my thoughts so farВ (please note I don't tamper with physics myself so I can't even say if these things are possible, so don't burn me if I was asking too much) THE FINAL VERSION WILL HAVE A 'OP SPINDASH' AND OR 'NO GRAPHICAL CHANGES' VARIANT!ДЄlso check out the 'Classic Sonic Improvement Mod' for Sonic Forces! Let me know if you have any issues in the compatible zones.ДЄLSO BEFORE ANYONE ELSE ASKS. Don't expect things to work correctly in every stage at the moment. You can try it now! But I have to warn you that only the Classic Era + Speed Highway is fully supported right now.

Shield monitors actually present as power ups in stages.

Springs function more like the classic games.

Rolling feels more like the classics and can even keep speed down steep slopes.

His Spindash is greatly nerfed to feel more like the classic games.

Classic Sonic controls more like the classic games.

Textures more closely resemble Classic Sonic's renders.Luckily I was already working on this a bit before. I've previously spent time improving Classic Sonic in forces and I've gotten requests to fix some issues in Generations.
